The cult hair tool brand that bought you the Shark FlexStyle™ is launching New Zealand’s first Shark Beauty Salon experience in Auckland with a team of the country’s best hair stylists, offering complimentary blow outs and special product offers.

Celebrating the diverse, eclectic and yet-to-be-celebrated hair, the Shark Beauty Salon offers free 30 minute hair styling sessions where you'll learn how to best use Shark Beauty’s innovative styling tools for your hairkind, and uncover personalised tips from expert stylists to help you celebrate and embrace your hair.

Offering everything from voluminous, high gloss blowouts to bouncy and defined curls, the Shark Beauty Salon has a product to meet every need across its suite of hair tools including the Shark® SmoothStyle™, the Shark FlexStyle™ and the Shark SpeedStyle™ - all of which will be available to purchase on-site with with exclusive product discounts.

The Shark Beauty Salon will be open from Friday 27th September until Sunday 20th October.

Opening hours are:
Wednesday, 10am – 5pm
Thursday, 10am – 7pm
Friday, 10am – 7pm
Saturday, 11am – 6pm
Sunday, 11am – 4pm

Please note if you are late for your appointment, we may not be able to proceed with your booking out of respect for our other clients.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Where is the Shark Beauty Salon located?
The Shark Beauty Salon is located at 242 Broadway, Newmarket. You can find us opposite Teed St.

How long does the Shark Beauty Salon run for?
The Shark Beauty Salon will run for three weeks from Friday, 27 September to Sunday, 20 October.

Can I book an appointment on the day?
We will be accepting a select amount of walk-in appointments each day. However we do recommend pre-booking your appointment to ensure we have the time you want available and to avoid any disappointment.

When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to your booking time so we can check you in. You’ll also have time to explore the salon and get hands-on with the product.

Can I get my hair washed at this appointment?
As these are dry styling appointments, hair washing will not be available at the pop-up.

Can I bring a friend with me to the appointment?
You’re welcome to bring a friend! While we will be accepting walk-ins, we would recommend booking an appointment with anyone you want to attend with to ensure you can both attend at the same time.
